Pat Harvey Scores His First Goal Against Fleetdown

Hello and welcome to Wested for our Kent Invicta League fixture v Erith and Dartford Town, a team who started poorly but have turned things around in recent months and are climbing the table.

We have met twice this season, losing 8 - 2 in the League Cup and 2 - 0 in the League, and had the 1st ever Step 6 fixture attracting a crowd of over 300.

A poor 2nd half performance saw the 1st Team snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, leading 3 - 1 at half time conceded 5 2nd half goals to lose 6 - 3, which was a bitter disappointment after some great performances by the defence in recent weeks, lets hope we are back on track today.

The Reserves drew 2 - 2 with top of the table Fleetdown with a brace from Pat Harvey, a good Team performance and remain unbeaten in 2012, well done to JP, Paul and the lads.

The Sunday side got back to winning ways with a good 4 - 1 win v FC Soma and are away this week to Thames Borough.

The Ladies lost 4 - 2 to Long Lane who seem to be their Bogey team and have to play them again soon in the Semi Final of the Kent Ladies Plate, it was their 1st defeat since they lost to Long Lane months ago. They are at Home Sunday v Canterbury in a top of the table clash, kick off 2pm, please come along and support them.

At the start of every season we sit down and work out Budgets for all the Teams and how much each will cost to run for the Season, they have however cost much more than first thought and so if any one has a idea for raising money or who would like to advertise around the ground and in our programme please contact me so we can have a chat.

We are hoping to stage a Quiz Night in February and the details will be in the next programme.

I wish all our Teams the best of luck this weekend

COME ON YOU CROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
